Article (82)
The Board of the MEC shall determine the dates of commencement and termination of examinations according to the system of study followed by the College.
Article (83)
The student is not allowed to apply for the course exam, which does not meet the percentage specified in the bylaws of the college, since he is considered not to have passed it. The College Council can examine the situation of students who are deprived of the test in the event of illness or health condition or have a circumstance to justify absence.
Article (84)
At least one week and at the suggestion of the College Council, the Dean of the College shall announce the names of the students who have not achieved the required hours.
Article (85)
The Dean of the College administers the examinations, appoints the heads of the examination halls and supervisors and supervises the examination committees.
Article (86)
At each college the following Committees to be assigned:
- Course Examination Committee.
- General Control Committee.
- Monitoring and auditing.
Article (87)
- The examination committee shall be composed in each of two or more members by a decision of the Dean of the College, at the request of the head of the concerned department and shall be chosen as much as possible by the faculty members of the faculty.
- The course examination committee shall evaluate the written answers and test the student in words and practically if the course has a spoken or practical exam. At the beginning of each academic year, the College Council shall determine the courses in which an spoken or practical examination is conducted, in addition to the written examination and the courses that allocate part of the exam marks for the work of the year.
Article (88)
In order to ensure the conduct of the examination process, the Dean of the College, under his chairmanship or under the chairmanship of any of his deputies, shall form the General Control Committee and the Monitoring and Review Committee from among the members of the teaching staff and the administrative staff.
Article (89)
The President of the MEC may, at the end of the examination session, set up scientific committees upon the proposal of the Dean of the College concerned to study samples of the examination papers from various disciplines in order to assess the student's performance and to identify the methods of evaluating this performance. And thus, in order to provide appropriate educational suggestions.
Article (90)
No student will enter the exam hall after the questions have been distributed.
Article (91)
The student may not take with him in the examination room any book or any means of communication or anything related to the course, or any paper even if it is free of writing, except as permitted by the Dean at the request of the instructor. The answer should be written on the paper provided by the college.
Article (92)
- Students are banned from speaking during the exam or doing any work that violates the examination system. In the event of a violation, the head of the examination hall will alert the offending student. If the student repeats the offense, he will be removed from the examination room and his examination will be canceled in the course in which the offense was committed.
- In the event that anything related to the course is found with the student, the student is removed from the examination room and his examination is canceled in the course in which the offense was committed and the student is referred to the disciplinary committee. If the violation is proven, the student is denied entry to the next course and is given a grade of zero. The Dean or his representative or the head of the examination hall may inspect the student or order a search of this student if there is strong evidence that the student is suspected of possessing anything related to the subject of the examination.
- Any student who tries to cheat in any form or is caught cheating in the exam will be removed from the examination room. His / her exam will be considered valueless and invalid in the decision in which the offense was committed, and he / she will be discussed to the Disciplinary Committee. In the event of proven fraud, his / her examination is canceled in all the courses of the exam. The student is given a grade of zero and is prohibited from applying for the examination for a period not exceeding four examination courses, in accordance with the rules established by the Board of MEC.
- The student shall be punished by dismissal from the MEC if it is proven that he / she is impersonating another person for the purpose of taking the exam on him / her, as well as the student who entered a person in his place for this purpose.
- The student will be removed from the examination room in the previous cases by the Dean or his representative or the head of the examination hall.
- In all cases, the incident is documented in writing and presented to the Dean.
Article (93)
The course teacher will put the questions of the written examinations, which will be comprehensive for all parts of the course and are multiple and compatible with the duration of the exam. The Dean of the College and the Head of the Department have the right to access it. If necessary, may be placed by the person chosen by the Dean of the College for this purpose.
Article (94)
The duration of the written examination for each course is determined by the College Council, and it shall be at the beginning of the academic year.
Article (95)
The successful student in all the courses of the academic plan applied to him / her in the university degree offered to him / her, shall be awarded a certificate signed by the Dean of the College and the Chairman of the MEC.
Article (96)
The successful student shall be given a certificate of graduation signed by the Dean of the College or his representative. The student may also be given a certificate signed by the Dean of the College or his representative indicating the courses he / she has studied and the marks he / she has obtained.
Article (97)
The student does not receive the university degree or any document or certificate, unless he / she presents the documents indicate that he / she has been acquitted by the concerned authorities in the MEC.
Article (98)
- The Board of Governors shall determine the provisions governing the transfer of students from the academic year in which they are enrolled to the next school year in accordance with the approved academic system. In all cases, the student shall not be transferred from one year to another if he has failed in more than four courses of the various years of study. For students accepted through transfer from another college, the courses assigned to them as a result of the different curricula that fall back to the year below the year in which they were registered, these courses are not included in the calculation of failure.
- A student who has failed in one or more courses shall be entitled to keep his marks in this course in all practical tests (work of the year, research seminars ...) or the like, other than theoretical examinations. In this case, the student shall be exempted from the work related to these courses. He may also return the work of the year to these courses on the basis of a written request to the Deanship during the first month of the semester or academic year.
- Registration is made in the higher academic year at the beginning of the academic year on the dates specified for registration.
Article (99)
The exam score for each course is 0 to 100. The student is successful in the course if he gets:
- (60) degree at least in the exam of the specialized course both theoretical and practical together.
- (50) at least in the non-specialization course exam both theoretical and practical together.
Article (100)
If the exam consists of a written, oral or practical examination or the work of the year, the student's mark in this course consists of the total grades of the written examinations, plus the oral or practical examination scores or the student's work marks during the year. At the beginning of each academic year, the College Council shall determine the percentage of each of these examinations. The percentage may not be modified during the academic year except by a decision of the Board of the MEC.
Article (101)
The student's theoretical marks or the process that contains fractions (which contain a practical part) may not be modified individually, but the fraction for the total sum (the theoretical and practical part) shall be imposed for the benefit of the student in the different faculties.
Article (101)
- It is not permissible to modify the student's marks for the theoretical and practical sections, which contain fractions (that contain a practical part) each separately, but to force the fraction for the total sum (the theoretical and practical part) for the benefit of the students in all of the Colleges of MEC.
- The registration of the student may be suspended for a period not exceeding two years, in accordance with the rules established by the Board of the MEC.
- A student of the last year, who has five courses on the highest rating as a result of the third semester (summer) examinations, is allowed to take a supplementary examination in accordance with the rules established by the Board of the MEC.
- A student of the final school year who has spent the said period is allowed to apply for four consecutive examinations after the course in which he has exhausted the chances of registering.
Article (102)
The student is given a grade of zero in the exam he did not attend.
Article (103)
The Board of MEC shall determine the rules that deal, in due course, with the error occurred in the declaration of the student's test result, which has not been remedied by the College to which the student belongs. This procedure is carried out if it is proved that the student is not guilty of this mistake, based on the result of a fundamental investigation conducted by the MEC's administration.
Article (104)
The Bachelor Degree is awarded the following degrees:
A - If the degree of success in the course of (60) marks at least be as follows:
- The Honorary rank if he receives a general average of (95) or more.
- The rank of Excellence if his / her general average is (85) and less than (95) degrees.
- Very Good rank if the general average (75) and less than (85).
- Good rank if the general average (65) and less than (75).
- The student has an Acceptable rank if his / her average is (60) and less than (65) for the subjects in which the mark of success is (60).
- The student has an Acceptable rank if his / her average is (50) and less than (65) for the subjects in which the mark of success is (50).
This rank is to be stated in the Bachelor Degree and in Documents and Certificates as well.
The general average is the arithmetic average of the years of study for the Bachelor degree. The average of each academic year is the arithmetical average of the marks obtained by the student in the examinations of the courses for that year.
Article (105)
By a decision of the Chairman of the MEC, upon the approval of the Board of the MEC, compensation shall be awarded for the work of the examinations, including the admission competitions for those who do the following:
- Of the Members of the Educational Board.
- Of the employees of the MEC, who are not members of the Educational Board.
- Of those assigned to the MEC, who have been contracted with them, lecturers and supervisors of applied fields.
- Of the commissioners from outside the MEC.
Article (106)
The examination works for which compensation is awarded are:
- Control work.
- Correcting the examination papers and graduation projects.
- Participate in oral and practical examinations.
- Participation in the work of the General Control Committee.
- Participation in the work of the Monitoring and Review Committee for examination papers.
- Service in the exam halls for the exams.
- Other tasks prepared by the Board of the MEC on examinations.
