Article (66)
Every student who wants to join the MEC or continue to study in order to obtain any degree must register his name in the MEC, and the student may not enroll his name in more than one degree at a time.
Article (67)
The applicant must submit the documents and papers required by a decision of the Board of MEC.
Article (68)
Each student enrolled in the MEC will have a file containing all the documents relating to the student. A page will also be opened in the Academic Life Record in which all the scientific and sports activities related to the student will be recorded, bonuses, scholarships, disciplinary penalties and other matters relating to his or her academic life, sequence and examination results.
Article (69)
Each student enrolled in the MEC shall be given a card of his own and shall have his personal photo stamped with the college stamp signed by its Dean, so that the student may, under this card, attend Lectures and participation in examinations, as well as through which to enter the library hall and borrow scientific books. And can be given an alternative when lost, and the Board of the MEC to determine the conditions for giving this alternative.
Article (70)
At the end of each academic year, the College Council shall determine, on the proposal of the College Council, the number of new students from the Syrians who may be admitted to the various faculties, as well as the special conditions for acceptance in the following academic year.
Article (71)
In the applicant's admission data, the applicant must have, in the same year of acceptance or five years before, a general secondary school certificate or a certificate equivalent to it: (scientific, normative or equivalent). Admission shall be on the basis of the grade of success in the secondary certificate and in accordance with other criteria determined by the Board of the MEC. The Board of the MEC may have an opinion as to the year of obtaining the secondary certificate.
Article (72)
A certain number, determined by the Board of the MEC each year, may be approved by secondary school graduates from the population of the camp in any region of Turkey or students coming from Syria to study in the Colleges of the same specialization through the differentiation, according to the grade of success in the secondary certificate, in accordance with the decision of the Board of the MEC on the proposal of the Department of the College.
Article (73)
By a decision of the President of the MEC in accordance with the rules established by the Board of the MEC, Syrian students who have a high school certificate may be admitted, whether these certificates are issued by the Syrian Interim Government, the Turkish Government, Libyan Government, or by Standard method, whereas all of which are equivalent to the Syrian general secondary school certificate.
Article (74)
No student may be accepted, on the basis of his personal status, without complying with the order of success, rate and other criteria set by the Board of the MEC except as follows:
- A certain number of seats determined by the Board of the MEC for the children of martyrs and their wives, based on a process of differentiation of their own, for each branch they wish to join.
- A certain number of seats to be determined by the Board of the MEC for the inhabitants of the camps located within the Turkish territory, whatever they may be, and for those coming from the Syrian interior areas, based on a special process of differentiation, for each branch they wish to join.
- A certain number of seats, to be determined by the Board of the MEC at the beginning of each academic year, for the children of the members of the Education Board who are working or who have died at the head of the service in the MEC, based on a process of differentiation of their own, for each branch they wish to join.
Article (75)
Transferring between similar faculties in the MEC may be made for students in different branches. The transfer may also be made between the various faculties within the MEC, subject to obtaining the approval of the College transferred to it and the approval of the College from which the student will be transferred.
Article (76)
The student shall be exempted by a decision of the College Council from the joint courses if he succeeds in another faculty, and the curriculum of the course and its number of hours shall be equal.
