
The EMT is the highest level of emergency medical care provider and is the leader of the emergency medical care team prior to the hospital. The emergency staff is considered one of the most important cadres for health work in hospitals and beyond. The need for them has increased after the emergency doctors' absence in Syria.

The EMOP program aspires to be the leading local and regional medical education provider by providing an educational environment that encourages students and faculty to achieve the vision of the Medical Education Council .

Objectives
1. Provide students with basic knowledge and value of personal safety and legal matters that have an impact on decisions in a pre-hospital environment.
2. Develop students' competence in patient assessment, critical thinking and clinical decision making.
3. Provide students with a deep knowledge of the physiological skills of the body functions and evaluate patients to take care of patients with medical emergencies such as: emergency injuries, emergency obstetricians and gynecologists, emergency children and emergencies of aging.
4. Provide students with intensive and deep training in emergency procedures to manage the patient safely in pre-hospital condition.
5. Provide students with basic concepts and principles for the management and techniques of public accidents Incident management involving several injuries in order to work effectively in large accidents.
