Article (67)
Values and Conduct of the Profession:
Medical professions are humanitarian professions that require a spirit of generosity, a great commitment to care for the patient and his family, and adherence to human values and ethics. Students in medical specialties must be ethical and represent their behavior and attitudes. Any behavior or attitudes that harm the values and image of the profession in the society expose the student to severe penalties.
Article (68)
Duties of the student and the rules of conduct:
- The student must achieve 100% of the course and inform the concerned when there is a circumstance that requires him to be absent.
- The student must know the ethics, philosophy and commitment of the medical profession.
- Students must adhere to the college regulations, training institutions and rules of conduct.
- To ensure the safety and comfort of the patient and not to endanger him.
- Adhering to ethics and adherence to social ethics in dealing with colleagues and staff in the college and training institutions, patients and their families.
- To ensure the safety of the property of the college and training institutions and use them in the allocated areas only.
- Ensuring scientific achievement through pre-preparation and active participation.
- Ensuring that the medical professions in training institutions and society are always represented in a decent manner.
- To take care of his appearance and his commitment to the professional appearance and dress system planned in practice.
Article (69)
Rules of dress and professional appearance in the sites of practical lessons:
Students of the medical and specialized professions must abide by the general rules in the practical training sites as follows:
- To maintain the cleanliness of the personal and the cleanliness and good appearance of their practical dress.
- Do not wear any type of ornaments or jewelry.
- Keep nails cut and clean and do not put any paint on them.
- Males should take care of the cleanliness of the hair and have it cut to be suitable to the ethics of the profession.
- The student must put the identification card on the chest during the working hours.
- The cell phone should be kept "silent" only during the working hours.
Article (70)
Student Rights: Students in medical colleges have the right to:
- To be familiar with the rules and regulations in the college and training institutions in a clear manner.
- To be respected and not to be abused by one of the staff or colleagues.
- To wear Islamic dress and without revealing the face during the time of theoretical and practical lectures.
- To have the opportunity to express his or her opinion on his or her education, the performance of teachers and the faculty and to respect his right to express his opinion.
- To obtain the best education and follow-up required in both theoretical and practical aspects.
- The student should be evaluated continuously and given continuous feedback regarding his or her performance.
- Not to be prejudged by anyone.
- To be distinguished from each other only on the basis of perseverance and professional behavior.
- To be informed in advance of the curriculum to be studied and decisions and ways to be followed in the evaluation, and the dates of tests and methods of evaluation.
- To provide him with the appropriate advice from the administration and the teaching staff in order to assist him in professional development and academic achievement.
